shipped variants given which covariates the user has available.
Spatial-aware models are preferred when prefer_spatial = TRUE.

Logical, whether elevation data is available. Accepted for compatibility; shipped v10 posteriors do not contain fitted elevation coefficients, so elevation alone does not change the selected model.

Logical, whether to prefer spatial models
